2. Where do I download browser plug-in?

Flash Player browser plug-in is a prerequisite for running COSAC-Plus. Adobe Flash Player can be downloaded from Adobe website. Please check Hardware and Software Requirement for the version required.

3. How do I change the “Privacy” setting in Internet Explorer?

In Internet Explorer:

1. Choose "Tools", then "Internet Option" from the top menu. "Internet Option" window will be pop up

2. Click the "Privacy" tab

3. Under the "Setting" option, set to the medium level

4. Click "OK"

5. If "Turn on Pop-up blocker" option is turned on, please click "Settings" button. The follow dialog will be displayed, add your company’s website (e.g. www.hactl.com and cplus.hactl.com) to the allow list. Then Click "Close".

4. Why does Adobe Flash Player prompt for Local Storage Permission?

COSAC-Plus is a rich Internet client. Some commonly used data are cached instead of download every time to reduce unnecessary network traffic.

1. Before starting COSAC-Plus, Flash Player will request user to allow local data storage. Press "Allow" to proceed.

2. Right click COSAC-Plus console, the following will be displayed, choose "Settings..."

3. Set to unlimited. Around 20MB of disk space for local data is required.

5. Why the COSAC-Plus function need to download every time?

COSAC-Plus function is a web-based object which is stored in browsers’ cache directory. Internet Explorer should be set with at least 200M cache size in order to cache commonly used COSAC-Plus command. Otherwise, frequency of flash module download will be increased.

6. How to disable auto-update of Flash Player?

1. After login COSAC-Plus, right click the console and the following dialog will be prompted.

2. Select the "Global Settings…" option, a new browser will be prompted and redirected to Adobe web site as below.

3. Click the "Global Notification Settings" panel, and uncheck the "Notify me when an update to Adobe Flash Player is available."

4. Close the browser after unchecked the options.
